Christo Stoychev (b. 1944)
Christo Stoychev was born in 1944 in Velico Tarnovo, Bulgaria.
After studying economy, music and art at various different colleges in Bulgaria he started his career as professional artist specialising in wood carving, cartoon and painting. The ironic stile of Stoychev’s wood carvings made visible through his distinctive technique, transforms the various traits of human nature into fantasy creatures. His work was shown in numerous national and international exhibitions.
Christo Stoychev lives and works in Velico Tarnovo, Bulgaria.
