Anjo Haase (b. 1971)

Anjo Haase was born in 1971 in Hanover, Germany.

Largely self-taught artist Anjo Haase has been drawing cartoons for over 20 years and has been particularly inspired by the cartoonist Kriki’s collage-like stile.

Anjo Haase’s style is to integrate into his works photos and old masters from Dürer to Caspar David Friedrich.

In 2004 Anjo Haase got onto the 5th place in the cartoon contest "The bottom line agenda". In 2010 he took part in the exhibition "Not for Cyclops", a program as part of the Erlangen Comic Salon. Anjo Haase was nominated for the German Cartoon Prize (publisher Carlsen) and in 2011 he made it onto the 3^rd place in the cartoon competition "…until the final whistle".

Anjo Haase lives and works in Fürth, Bavaria.

Anjo Haase wurde 1971 in Hannover geboren.

Heute lebt er in Fürth und arbeitet als technischer Redakteur und freier Cartoonist.

Seit über 20 Jahren zeichnet der Autodidakt Cartoons und wurde besonders vom collagenhaften Stil des Cartoonisten Kriki beeinflusst.

Zu seinem Stil gehört es Photos und alte Meister von Dürer bis Caspar David Friedrich in seine Werke zu integrieren.
